This beautiful and calm beach at the Waihi end of the Tauranga harbour is a popular spot for families. Set beside a large reserve area and carpark lined with picnic tables and Pohutukawa trees. This is a view from one of the many tracks leading to several small bays in the area. Matakana Island can be seen on the right and Karewa Island in the disance.
Painted on a hand stretched cotton canvas using high quality acrylics, signed and dated. The wooden stretcher frame is about 40mm deep.
